Dear Classmates,
It has been 25 years since we graduated from Mater Carmeli High School. Don't you just feel so old? Lol. Now we are already in our forties, in the prime of life. Just ignore the weight gains, creaking joints and extra flabs. Whereas before we used to giggle about boys or girls who took our fancy , fashion, sports, and other teen-age angst, now we mostly discuss the medicine that we take for maintenance, the kids (those of others and not mine, hmmm), making ends meet, and other concerns of the more mature (older?) people. The years flew so fast.

Balik Mater 2011: “Selebrasyon sang Paghiliusa para sa Bag-ong Dekada”
Since its foundation, Mater Carmeli School ( known then as Dingle Academy and later on as Dingle Holy Child’s Academy and Mater Carmeli High School) has produced graduates who made their marks in the annals of history. The school played a big role in the formation of its students. The core Carmelian values instilled enabled each of them to attain a semblance of success in whatever field of endeavor they chose to pursue. MCHS did not only focus on the enhancement skills of its studentry but in the development of the total person.

A Glimpse of Mater Carmeli School
After a long period of absence, I was able to visit Mater Carmeli once again. Last Saturday was my third one for this year. I was there with my batchmates to conduct the Logo Making Contest for Balik Mater 2011. I was surprised though when I saw a whole lot of students present not for the contest but for the elimination phase of their annual sportsfest. It was such a joy watching these very active young people brimming with enthusiasm and energy as they played, cheered and just have fun.
Blessed Francisco Palau, OCD, Our Founder
