Dear Classmates,
It has been 25 years since we graduated from Mater Carmeli High School. Don't you just feel so old? Lol. Now we are already in our forties, in the prime of life. Just ignore the weight gains, creaking joints and extra flabs. Whereas before we used to giggle about boys or girls who took our fancy , fashion, sports, and other teen-age angst, now we mostly discuss the medicine that we take for maintenance, the kids (those of others and not mine, hmmm), making ends meet, and other concerns of the more mature (older?) people. The years flew so fast.
Anyway, this year our batch will be the host of the annual reunion, Balik Mater 2011, of our high school. It will be an opportunity for us to serve MCHS. We have had several meetings already and even sponsored two activities - the Blood Donation Activity last May and the Logo Making Contest just last weekend. We still have a long way to go before December 18. We still have more build-up activities in anticipation of the grand celebration at the end of the year.
Thus, we would like to invite everybody to another meeting on Sunday, July 31st at 2pm. The venue will be Nanding (Fernando) Diente's residence in Dawis. Actually, it is his (Nanding's) birthday today but the celebration will be this Sunday. (Thank you sa pamahaw, P're Nanding. Happy birthday a.)We will discuss the tasking for the various activities other pertinent matters.
Your presence and participation in all of the activities will be greatly welcomed. While for those who cannot be with us personally this Sunday, we will keep you posted through this blog and our fb account.
